Our client Design & Manufacturer specialist Equipment for highly regulated and complex projects, and having seen significant growth in recent years, they are offering the opportunity to join their Purchasing & Supply Chain department as a Procurement Lead.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional with experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in highly regulated industries. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at managing multiple projects, and possess strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Procurement Manager in delivering strategic procurement objectives, including managing multiple sourcing strategies and supplier relationships.
- Lead or assist in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks, utilising strong Contract review skills.
- Preparation of RFQ & ITT tender documentation, and supporting the tendering process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver procurement initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Following up on non-conformances whilst liaising with Design & Quality.
- Conduct supply market analysis, supplier development activities, and promote early procurement engagement.
- Develop and implement procurement processes and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Senior Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain positions.
- Experience within highly regulated Manufacturing, Engineering or Energy sectors.
- Experience in Contract review, Tendering, and Non-conformance management.
- Ability to adapt to stringent, complex projects that can require patience.
- CIPS Level 4 or equivalent.
Location: Leyland
Permanent
Salary: circa £40k – £45k (negotiable – dependent on experience)
Working Hours: 4 day working week! Flexible Hours & Hybrid.
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, 5% pension from employer, MediCash Health
