We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal EC&I Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering complex projects within the nuclear sector. This role will lead and supervise multidisciplinary engineering design activities, providing technical oversight and ensuring compliant, safe and high-quality EC&I engineering solutions are delivered across the full project lifecycle.
This position would suit a senior EC&I Engineer with a strong nuclear background who enjoys leading technical teams and working on highly regulated engineering projects. It will appeal to someone who is confident coordinating multidisciplinary activities, driving engineering compliance and supporting technically challenging project delivery within safety-critical environments.
- Lead and supervise EC&I engineering design teams across complex project delivery activities
- Provide technical oversight and support in the development of engineering design solutions and documentation
- Ensure engineering activities comply with nuclear safety standards, applicable legislation and engineering best practice
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and support technical issue resolution throughout manufacture, testing and commissioning
- Undertake design reviews, verification and validation activities to ensure quality and compliance across engineering deliverables
In return you'll receive a contract rate up to £63/hour (Ltd company), with hybrid working split across 2 days onsite and 2 days remote.
