We are working with a business known across the UK for its lifting equipment, and they are searching for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their well-established team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, particularly with experience in AutoCAD and electrical engineering. This is an exciting chance to contribute to innovative projects and work alongside skilled professionals in a collaborative environment.
Day to day activities will include:
- Specification of electrical components, wiring, and cabling.
- Design and development of control panels.
- Creation of parameter sets for variable frequency drives.
- Collaboration with the shop floor team to commission and fault-find new equipment.
- Support junior engineers, installation teams, and end customers.
- Drive product development and validate new designs through prototyping.
You’ll Require:
- A minimum of HNC Level qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
