We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering complex projects within the nuclear sector. This role will support the development and substantiation of engineering design solutions, ensuring compliant, safe and high-quality EC&I designs are delivered across the full project lifecycle.

This position would suit an experienced EC&I Engineer with a strong nuclear background who enjoys working on technically challenging engineering projects within highly regulated environments. It will appeal to someone who is confident producing technical documentation, supporting multidisciplinary design activities and ensuring engineering compliance throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce concept, scheme and detailed EC&I engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation
  • Support the development and substantiation of engineering design solutions in line with nuclear safety standards
  • Undertake engineering activities in line with project schedules, budgets and quality requirements
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and stakeholders to support integrated project delivery
  • Participate in design reviews, verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards and legislation

In return you'll receive a contract rate up to £55/hour (Ltd company), with a 4-day working pattern split across 2 days onsite and 2 days remote.
