This Procurement role involves managing supplier relationships, analysing procurement data, supporting sourcing activities across multiple sites, and driving cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency throughout the purchasing process. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and procurement activities across assigned commodity groups.
  • Source indirect materials, MRO supplies, capital equipment, and operational services.
  • Analyse procurement data, market trends, and supplier performance to support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage proposals, purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records.
  • Support multiple sites within a centralised procurement function while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain role.
  • Experience with Indirect purchasing highly desirable.
  • Experience using SAP systems highly desirable.
  • Excellent IT, systems, and communication skills.

Location: Bury Permanent: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 0830-1615 (with flexible hours). Salary: £30k - £34k Benefits: Private Medical, EWS scheme, Holidays, Death in service x3, Excellent Pension 6% EE 12% ER (18% combined pension) or higher.
