Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: South Wimbledon London (SW19)

Hours: Working 5 days out of 7 starting 13:00 hrs or earlier 08:00 am working 9-hour shift. Various Start times. Saturdays the bakery is closed. Would have to work 1 or 2 Sundays in a month with 1 day off in the week. Most weeks working Monday to Friday.

Salary & Benefits: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE + Overtime. A performance review is carried out within a year of employment with good prospects.

Job description: Looking for experienced Skilled Scratch Baker that can bake various breads from scratch. Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. This is a lively Bread Factory that can bring out your potential with good career prospects. The benefits include overtime, which is optional, Established Bread Factory. Yearly Review with potential salary increases within a year of employment. If the two-hour trial is successful, there is immediate employment and salary will range according to how the trial is performed. Please note home bread baking experience will not be suitable. Client does not offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for covering all aspects of Bread Baking such as Scratch Baking, Kneading, Mixing, Moulding.
  • Must have a keen interest in baking different types of breads with hands-on experience.
  • Must be aware of proofing, oven baking, etc.

Additional Information:

  • Working 5 days out of 7, Saturdays off. 1 other day off in the week. Some weeks working Monday to Friday. Will be required to work a few Sundays if so, a day will be taken off during the week.
  • Hour of work starting 13:00 hrs or earlier 08:00 am working 9-hour shift. Various Times to start in the morning or afternoon this is a day shift.
  • Overtime available.
