Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst / Consultant with deep expertise in Telecoms Business Support Systems (BSS), ideally with handsâon experience in Cerillion or similar BSS platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex telecom transformation projects in a dynamic and international environment, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of client business processes, systems, and requirements within the telecoms domain.
- Lead workshops to gather and document functional and nonâfunctional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for development and configuration teams.
- Work closely with Cerillion product modules such as CRM, Billing, Order Management, and Service Fulfilment.
- Support solution design, gap analysis, and configuration activities.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams including developers, testers, architects, and client stakeholders.
- Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations for process improvement and system optimisation.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of BSS domains is mandatory: CRM, Billing, Product Catalogue, Order Management, Mediation, and Provisioning.
- Handsâon experience with Cerillion or similar BSS platforms.
- Proven ability to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Well organised and selfâmotivated.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastâpaced environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time (depending on project allocation).
Advantageous additional experience:
- Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
- Good knowledge of Linux command line.
- Development & execution of test specifications.
- System installation and end to end delivery.
- Experience with OSS domains (e.g., Service Assurance, Inventory).
- Knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM).
- Exposure to system integration projects involving APIs, middleware, and thirdâparty platforms.
- Experience in international telecom environments or Tier 1/Tier 2 operators.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, BCS) or Agile (e.g., Scrum Master) are a plus.
