Responsibilities

  • Line management of the Presales team
  • Presales team of six is distributed across the UK, Poland, France, USA
  • Bid management and executive engagement
  • Accountable for ensuring that all deliverables (documents, demos, etc) for tenders are met and resourced appropriately
  • Effectively a PM role ensuring the successful delivery of tender responses; allocation of resources to tasks, dependency & deadline management, liaising with Opportunity Owner
  • Interaction with colleagues outside Sales (Legal, Commercial, Delivery, Support) dependencies for providing complete responses
  • RFP response work and collaboration
  • Compliance responses, proposal creation and involvement in the preparation of the responses, particularly on large bids

Experience

  • The successful candidate will ideally have ten years + in telecoms BSS/OSS
  • Ideally in Presales and possibly with line management experience
  • Other previous roles within BSS/OSS vendors that could be relevant include: Project Management, Business Analyst, and Solution Architect
  • Experience across the full BSS/OSS lifecycle is very useful (R&D, Development, Sales, Delivery, Support)
  • Travel is not necessarily involved for the role, but as a team they do travel extensively

Minimum technical skills required

  • MS Office, advanced level (Excel, Word & PowerPoint specifically)
  • Domain expertise (BSS/OSS)
  • Visio or similar

  • Familiarity with BSS/OSS capabilities and market expectations
  • Communication & Stakeholder management
  • Presales / Senior Business Analyst/Project Management experience
