This role
We're hiring an SDR Team Lead to help scale and elevate our UK SDR organization. This player-coach role is ideal for a highâperforming SDR ready to progress into leadership while maintaining handsâon contribution to pipeline generation.
As an SDR Team Lead, alongside the Senior SDR Manager, you'll shape execution standards, uphold performance discipline, and drive a culture of consistency and accountability across the team. You will lead the daily rhythm of the SDR function, ensure operational excellence, and maintain clarity, direction, and focus for the team â all while continuing to contribute directly to SAO generation. This role is a critical layer of leadership within a growing SDR organization. You'll help translate strategy into daily action, set expectations, uphold standards, and ensure the team executes with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead daily performance rhythms, ensuring the team stays aligned, focused, and consistent
- Hold SDRs to high standards of activity, quality, pipeline hygiene, and SLA responsiveness
- Reinforce expectations around outbound discipline, call quality, prioritization, and data accuracy
- Set clear expectations and reset them quickly when standards drop
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of SDRs, ensuring strong foundations and early alignment to our performance culture.
- Onboarding Excellence & Performance Management
- Analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Make timely, dataâdriven recommendations that improve output, conversion rates, and operational efficiency
- Partner with the Senior SDR Manager to implement new workflows, processes, tools, and best practices
- Ensure consistency and discipline across Salesforce, Outreach, lead management, and daily workflows.
- Communication & CrossâFunctional Alignment
- Maintain clear and consistent communication between SDR leadership and the team
- Ensure SDRs understand priorities and campaign focus
- Provide structured feedback that drives behaviour change and high performance
- Influence outcomes across functions by representing the SDR team's needs with clarity and precision.
- PlayerâCoach Contribution
- Maintain a personal SAO quota and continue contributing highâquality inbound and/or outbound pipeline
- Demonstrate bestâinâclass prospecting, qualification, and workflow discipline
- Model resilience, consistency, and high professional standards through daily execution.
