About Our Client: We are a warm, welcoming and forward‐thinking Children's Day Nursery in Goldalming, providing outstanding childcare for children aged 0–5 years. Our nursery is open Monday to Friday only, offering a healthy work‐life balance and a positive, team‐focused working environment.

The Role: We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Deputy Manager who is passionate about early years education and wants to feel valued, supported and excited about coming to work. You'll be part of a friendly, experienced team in a well‐resourced nursery with strong staffing levels and excellent support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all children under our care feel engaged and supported
  • Supporting the team within the setting
  • Maintaining the highest standards when implementing safeguarding
  • Ensuring the EYFS is implemented and applied to all learning
  • To ensure our children have fun and a stimulating environment
  • Promoting and upholding Health & Safety for children, staff and visitors
  • Ensuring SEND is implemented, promoted and applied
  • Making sure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied and adhered to
  • Working alongside the Nursery Manager and overtaking any managerial duties needed such as opening and closing, show arounds, employee interviews and more

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 4 or 5 days per week, shifts between 7:30am – 6:30pm, no weekends.

Requirements:

  • Full & relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • A genuine passion for childcare and child development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK
