Overview
Payroll Implementation Consultant – Bureau. Employment Hero provides a HR, payroll and benefits software-as-a-service platform to small and medium-sized businesses. This is an Implementation Consultant position focused on guiding larger Bureau clients through their software implementation journey with Employment Hero and KeyPay. The role requires a blend of client-facing expertise and internal collaboration. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, designing and delivering training on best practices, and ensuring a smooth transition. The goal is to drive a successful implementation while building strong relationships and ensuring continuous improvement.
Your key focus areas
- Working with both HR and Payroll teams to deliver great outcomes for Bureau customers
- Designing, developing and delivering Payroll and HR implementation training to Bureau clients based on best practice
- Maintain a high level of system and client and industry knowledge and help deliver internal team training regarding these
- Work directly with your Team Lead to identify and alleviate challenges
- Actively review client feedback and help deliver valuable and sustainable improvement
This will include the following
- Manage a portfolio of larger Bureau clients, servicing their needs for a smooth transition from one software to another
- Working closely to support client system understanding and building in-platform solutions for their specific portfolio requirements
- Educate clients on best practice using the Employment Hero & KeyPay platform
- Respond to customer communications and queries during the implementation within SLAs
- Attend on-site training with clients as required
- Design, develop and support content creation
- Ensure the business management data is up-to-date and accurate for reporting purposes and for handover to other teams
- Use data to review process delivery and help identify areas for improvement
- Build strong working relationships with fellow Customer Experience (CX) team members and ensure cross-collaboration for continuous improvement
- Act as a subject-matter expert to provide guidance and support for initiatives, projects, change and importantly, to upskill and maintain team knowledge as a priority
Who You Are / Qualifications
- 2+ years of implementation and training experience, with a proven track record of managing complex, client-facing projects
- Expert knowledge of current legislative payroll requirements in the UK
- Experience in creating and maintaining learning content to support new products and assist with implementations and platform adoption
- Extensive Payroll or HR Implementations experience, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of the implementation journey
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience driving change and improvement with both internal and external teams
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage a challenging workload and a high-volume project portfolio effectively
- A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with others
