Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Create manufacturing instructions. Install machinery. Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects. Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Computer-aided design (CAD). Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Prepare standards and schedules. Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants. Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects. Test machines and equipment. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Health benefits: Disability benefits.
