The predicted salary is between 53460 - 56730 Β£ per year.

There is currently one permanent, full-time post in the Development Planning and Policy Section. Responsibilities include supporting policy development, development plans, updating development management policies, reviewing guidance, developing planning frameworks, processing planning applications and appeals, enforcing planning controls, and delivering other planning-related functions such as conservation and protection of trees.

Responsible for the day-to-day management and development of Planning Officers, Assistant Planning Officers, and any technical or other staff within the Development Planning and Policy or Development Management Units. Provide support to the Principal Planning Officer in meeting all statutory requirements and ensuring effective performance management, training, and development for staff within the team to meet the needs of the business and all customers in accordance with best practice standards and other performance indicators.
