Protection & Assurance Co-Ordinator

Job Description
You will oversee, plan and coordinate access to the Northern Ireland Railways Infrastructure to allow works to take place safely in accordance with the company rule book and relevant standards and SH&E procedures. You will support the management team in carrying out their functions in relation to technical, safety and competence management. In addition, continuously drive safety improvements in arrangements for the planning and protection of worksites across the Translink portfolio.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of an HNC/HND or equivalent OR possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory/assessor role.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a safety critical environment.
- Experience of using MS Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Able to work frequently at nights and weekends when required.
- Possess a full current driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable Criteria
- Possess NEBOSH General Certificate
- Experience of carrying out risk assessments or competence management assessments.
- Experience undertaking SH&E inspections/audits
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) certified
- Possess CSR/1 Day H&S training
