The Accounting Technician will assist the Finance offices with timely and accurate production of financial reports, information and reconciliations, through the provision of high quality administrative and technical support.
They will contribute as an integral member of the Finance team to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive Financial Services to support the vision and mission of NIFRS.
This is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified Accounting Technicians. The role comes with an excellent benefits package including on-site parking, flexible working, generous holidays and gym facilities on-site.
Hours of work: Currently 36¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation.
In view of the level of this appointment, the post holder will be required to work in such a way as to fulfil the obligations of the post. Hybrid working may be available upon completion of the probationary period; currently Finance staff are required to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, but should be available 5 days a week to attend the office as and when required for business need.
There is currently 1 permanent post based at NIFRS HQ in Lisburn. This recruitment and selection process will also be used to fill future vacancies; a reserve list will be created for 12 months should any additional permanent or fixed term vacancies arise (offers of posts will be made in merit order).
Salary: The salary scale is SO2. The salary range is currently £37,280 – £39,152 per annum (Under Review).
