Horizon Sure Start is looking for an enthusiastic Creche Supervisor who loves to provide play experiences for babies and toddlers, and motivate a creche team to do the same. You will be based in St. Anthony’s Primary School site in Larne.

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am–1:00pm.

This is a term-time only position, working 39 weeks per year. 13 weeks down time, paid equally over 12 months.

Essential Criteria

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Childcare
• Demonstrable experience of working with babies and toddlers
• Experience communicating effectively with parents/carers regarding children’s needs
• Full, current driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required).
• Applicants with a disability preventing driving may provide evidence of alternative mobility arrangements.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience supervising or supporting staff in a childcare setting

We have a multi-disciplinary team that works together to support children’s development. We aim to improve each child’s ability to learn by encouraging stimulating play and developing their language and communication skills.
