We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Community and Regional Fundraising Manager based in Northern Ireland to join our Public Fundraising team and play a key role in growing income and supporter engagement across Northern Ireland as well as lead on our Community Businesses programme across the UK.

This is an excitingopportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, delivering excellent supporter experiences, and contributing to income growth across keyfundraising programmes. You’ll manage and develop significant fundraising activity, work with colleagues across the organisation, and help inspire communities to support Barnardo’s vital work.

As a Community and Regional Fundraising Manager you’ll be at the heart of our mission, to grow and develop community fundraising leading on key income streams including our Community Businesses Programme across the UK and support fundraising and marketing locally in Northern Ireland. You’ll manage internal and external relationships to ensure theacquisition and stewardship of successful fundraising partnerships as well as develop key supporter relationships to both mass and high value supporters. You’ll bring experience in fundraising, marketing, stewardship development and strong project management skills with a creative, solution-focused mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Community and Regional Fundraising Manager – Business and Partnerships

• Develop, deliver and grow regional and community fundraising activity to achieve ambitious income targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, community groups, volunteers, businesses and individuals.
• Identify opportunities to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels and fundraising products.
• Monitor campaign and fundraising performance, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement and maximise results.
• Manage budgets effectively and ensure activities deliver a strong return on investment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing, Retail, Children’s Services and other teams to deliver integrated fundraising activity.Ensure a high standard of supporter care and compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience of planning, developing and delivering successful fundraising activity or programmes.
• Experience of building and growing networks of supporters, community groups, businesses or volunteers.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing at senior levels.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insight into action.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities within a complex organisation.
• Knowledge of fundraising regulation and best practice.
• Outstanding communication and supporter engagement skills.
• Strong organisational and financial management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
