The Role
We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our dedicated service team. This is a varied role that offers a balance of working on-site with customers and supporting operations at our Ulverston headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of commercial refrigeration and electrical catering equipment.
- Field Work: Respond to emergency call-outs and conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Customer Relations: Act as a professional face of the company, liaising with clients on-site to explain repairs and provide advice.
- Internal Support: Provide technical guidance over the phone and collaborate with our in-house service and logistics teams.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards, following site-specific RAMS and general Health & Safety protocols.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a technically proficient engineer with a customer-first mindset.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- F-GAS Certified (Category 1).
- City & Guilds 2079 Qualified.
Core Skills:
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration and/or electrical catering equipment.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for phone queries and face-to-face customer service.
- A valid UK driving license.
