Indirect Taxes raise significant revenues for governments globally and gain increasing focus from tax authorities, the media and the public. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with. As a Tax Manager, you'll be joining a high performing VAT team who provide services to a diverse portfolio, including household names, global multinationals and fast-paced privately owned businesses.
You will deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio including control of billings and cash collection within the firm's criteria and liaising with HMRC. You’ll develop business and seek opportunities to ensure the continued growth of the team. This role is key and will work in close partnership with our Partners & Directors.
You’ll be someone with:
- Significant understanding of and previous experience within UK VAT.
- In-depth knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus in the area of VAT.
- Ability to manage a large and varied portfolio.
- Ability and desire to actively seek opportunities for further work.
- Experience of dealing directly with HMRC.
- Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
- Educated to degree level; CTA qualified or equivalent is an advantage.
