What You'll Do

As a Director - Biopharma Commercial BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path, BCG Vantage within BCG's Health Care Practice Area, you will be a key contributor towards the strategic agenda for the global Biopharma Commercial topic. You will grow and deploy a team of 20+ Topic experts to provide value added support to the business and be responsible for your team’s performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.). You will also take ownership for the team's development and career progression. Additionally, you will directly contribute to cases, proposals, client workshops based upon your own extensive experience in the domain. You will support SATT & Conferences, presenting expertise in meetings & conferences. BCG’s Biopharma Commercial clients include the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. We partner with them across the full spectrum of commercial topics, including marketing, sales, market access, and commercial operating model design.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Leading problem solving and solutioning for clients and driving towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context
  • Leading development and commercialization of knowledge and assets e.g. tools, benchmarks and market studies in biopharma commercial.
  • Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility
  • Leading projects in a highly effective manner, mobilizing team to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact
  • Acting as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively
  • Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years consulting experience in biopharma commercial required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 8+ years minimum industry experience required; 12-14+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Specialization in one or more biopharma commercial functions, ideally with experience in the German pharmaceutical market.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills an additional plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
