Global Employer Services help companies and individuals moving countries and assist with any tax implications that occur in the move. Working with a broad client base, from start-ups to multinationals, the team works with companies as a whole and with individual employees to help them with some of the biggest decisions of their lives. Strong people skills are essential to build relationships defined by trust.

You’ll be comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners.
You will be a key member of the Global Employer Services group, providing reward and share schemes services for a wide range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership
- In-depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and related areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax
- Expertise on split interest, freezer and nil paid arrangements
- Experience in the preparation of share valuations and liaison with HMRC
- Staff management and mentoring experience
- Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives
- Experience of dealing directly with clients including agreement of fees
- Educated to degree level (LLB preferred), and/or CTA and/or ATT/ACA qualified or equivalent
