Global Employer Services help companies and individuals moving countries and assist with any tax implications that occur in the move. Working with a broad client base, from start-ups to multinationals, the team works with companies as a whole and with individual employees to help them with some of the biggest decisions of their lives. You will be a key member of the Global Employer Services group, providing reward and share schemes services for a wide range of clients. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Directors & Partners in providing Tax compliance and advisory services.
- Managing a portfolio of existing clients and assisting with the development of targets for business growth.
- Providing assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Ability to advise on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership.
- An in-depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and related areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax.
- Expertise on split interest, freezer and nil paid arrangements.
- Experience in the preparation of share valuations and liaison with HMRC.
- Staff management and mentoring experience.
- Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients including agreement of fees.
- Educated to degree level (LLB preferred), and/or CTA and/or ATT/ACA qualified or equivalent.
