Our client is a well-established and highly respected military charity that has been supporting veterans and service leavers for over 140 years.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for veterans who are at risk of, or already involved with, the justice system. Working as part of a close‑knit support team, you will triage referrals, make timely first contact, complete initial registrations, and provide accurate guidance, all while maintaining detailed records on a case management system. This is a shift‑based role covering a rota between 08:00 and 20:00 Monday to Friday, with one Saturday in five (08:00–14:00). Some home working is available on non‑office days.

What We Are Looking For

You do not need a military background, but you do need genuine empathy with the veteran community and the challenges some face when navigating the justice system. Beyond that, we are looking for someone who is organized, calm under pressure, a strong communicator, and comfortable working with CRM systems. Experience in advice, guidance, case work, or a similar support environment would be a real advantage. Understanding of the justice system is desirable but not essential — full training and Salesforce support will be provided. Please note this role requires an Enhanced DBS check and Police Vetting (NPPV2). Our client will progress candidates whilst clearances are being processed.
