I am recruiting an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager with specific experience of working within the water treatment sector, to develop the UK, European and Middle Eastern sales for Blowers and Aerations system solutions direct to the customers. This is a home-based role (with fully funded travel as required to existing and new customers) offering a basic of £80 - £150K plus significant bonuses/commission scheme.
Experience
- Relevant Water industry experience
- Blower Experience
- Process and Engineering design experience for water industry
- Chartered Engineer or Chartered Energy Manager would be preferable
- Turnkey project design and delivery experience - civil, mechanical and process engineering
- Energy market knowledge & Experience
- Renewable Energy market knowledge & experience
The Role
- Development of the UK, European and Middle Eastern sales for Blowers and Aerations system solutions direct to the customers.
- Working alongside the current team with existing customers and development of new customers in both the Water Industry and Industrial markets to deliver a Total Aeration Solution.
- Understand and develop any potential energy or investment returns for the customer on existing and future products for the UK, European & Middle Eastern markets.
- Development of the additional services as a route to market via auditing and reporting of energy and aeration system data.
- Continual development of services and potential services through utilisation of ESOS and monitoring of ESOS requirements.
- Monitoring the future requirements in the UK and Europe for future Energy Legislation (EMEA) and introducing any potential business functions that would drive financial returns.
- Continual further develop the business by market analysis and understanding the customers requirements moving forward in the continual carbon reduction, sustainability and energy efficiency areas.
- Utilise the market analysis to development of the business to be “one step ahead” of our competitors and making sure we are the market leaders in our expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of the total aeration system with an energy efficiency and sustainability being the prime objective.
- Deliver the total aeration system to existing and new customers.
- Assistance with process optimisation services and monitoring services.
- Attending trade shows and conferences and taking part where necessary.
- Delivery of Presentations and learn lunches with existing and new customers.
- Assistance in development of the sales and aftermarket sales strategy.
- Identifying alternative avenues for obtaining revenue through monitoring, reporting and utilising the energy market (ESOS), and SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting) - now an annual requirement for the UK.
- Utilise your Industry experience to broaden the customer base.
- Understand the energy markets and how we can develop the business.
