The Role
As Head of Finance, you will lead a well-established Finance team and provide strategic and operational financial leadership across the organisation. This includes responsibility for planning, reporting, compliance, and risk, as well as acting as a key business partner to the wider leadership team. You’ll be central to ensuring the organisation’s financial stability and sustainability, while also helping to shape long-term strategy through sound financial insight and stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong, values-led leadership to the Finance team
- Deliver robust financial planning, reporting, and compliance processes
- Advise senior leaders on financial strategy, risk, and performance
- Support and influence decision-making across the organisation through business partnering
- Maintain compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

About You
We’re looking for a confident and credible finance leader who is:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experienced at senior level, ideally with a background in the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Skilled in developing high-performing teams and leading through change
- Commercially astute with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solutions-oriented and collaborative, with a strong sense of integrity and purpose
- Committed to the values and mission of the charitable sector
