Design Engineer

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electro / Mechanical Engineer to join a vibrant engineering company experiencing a period of significant growth. You will work with a team of mechanical design engineers in the design and development of innovative electro-mechanical solutions including mechanical systems, components, and products such as fittings, and fixtures, power transfer systems, and ancillary equipment. The role is ideal for a technically strong and experienced Engineer with a history of developing innovative solutions to a range of electro-mechanical issues. The role is offered with a salary of £45 – 60K This role is 100% site based. Sponsorship is not available for this role Duties * Design of electro-mechanical components, both from first principles and as product development * Develop detailed designs and specifications using CAD software, ideally SolidWorks. * Create and interpret schematics for complex systems. * Use of FEA from first principles * Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production. * Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes and modifications
