Our client designs and hand-assembles precision optical products for use by specialists across more than 60 countries. Made in the UK, the standard of finish is high and the work is detailed. They need an Assembly Technician to join the team on a temporary basis, initially 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

The role: You will assemble precision components working from documented instructions. Accuracy matters here. The products are small, intricate and the finish has to be right. Full product training is provided.

What you need: At least 3 years in a precision assembly role. Steady hands, a sharp eye and genuine attention to detail. A background in optics is an advantage but not essential. If you can work accurately from written instructions and take quality seriously, we want to hear from you.

The details: £13.50 per hour. Temporary contract, 3 months minimum with strong likelihood of extension.
