Are you an experienced Operative, perhaps from a electro/mech or similar assembly background? Salary: £30- 32,000 pa Our key Defencr Client is seekng an Assembler to join the team on an inital 12 Month FTC (Fixed Term Contract). There are some very exciting future opportunities that this opening could develop into a more longer term assignment or permanent role. This exciting opportunity is based from our state of the art 64 acre facility in Bedfordshire and benefits from a 4 day working week (Mon – Thu). As their Electro-Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical assembly and integration of complex systems working from drawings and engineering instruction. You'll demonstrate competent and safe use of all hand tools, jigs, fixtures and measuring tools, including final acceptance testing on the production line. Working with support from engineering group you'll provide a methodical and precise approach to ensure successful completion of production tasks on low volume high value hardware.
