Employal is recruiting on behalf of a growing UK business seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to take ownership of their end-to-end marketing strategy. This is a standalone role, ideal for a digital marketing professional with a strong B2B background who enjoys autonomy, strategy, and hands-on delivery.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing at group level, you will be based at the Uttoxeter site and collaborate closely with the wider UK marketing team. You will also have access to shared resources including graphic design, photography, and a marketing executive for content support. While you won’t have direct reports, you will play a key role in business development and lead generation activity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and continually improve the company website as a lead generation tool, working with an external digital agency on UX and conversion optimisation.
- Develop and execute a robust SEO strategy with agency support.
- Oversee paid media campaigns (PPC), monitoring performance and ROI, and contributing to group-level strategy.
- Create regular marketing reports for internal stakeholders including the board and sales teams.
- Maximise use of HubSpot CRM for marketing automation, email workflows, and customer segmentation.
- Develop digital content including blogs, case studies, and thought leadership material.
- Own and execute the social media strategy, overseeing content calendars and campaigns.
- Work with the sales team to identify project photography opportunities and stakeholder engagement.
- Support business development and brand awareness through trade shows and industry association events.
- Coordinate post-project customer satisfaction surveys.
- Conduct competitor analysis, industry research, and market monitoring.
- Provide occasional marketing support to other UK group business units when needed.
