My client is a manufacturing business who due to demand requires a Finance Assistant to join them on a 6-month FTC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts or finance experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and is looking for a varied role supporting the day to day running of the finance department.
This position would suit someone organised, detail focused and confident managing their workload while working closely with colleagues across the business.
The role:
- Support the day to day running of the finance department, assisting with invoicing, payroll, expenses and much more.
- Support the wider finance team to ensure financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently while helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
- Manage all aspects of the purchase ledger process from end to end.
- Process supplier invoices and posting to the ledger.
- Prepare payment runs and maintain accurate records.
- Process weekly payroll using Sage payroll.
- Update timesheets, holidays, and absences.
