Main duties include:
- Assist the Senior Estimator in analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
- Gather and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for materials and services.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate records of estimates, calculations, and assumptions.
- Work with the design and engineering teams to identify cost-effective solutions.
- Develop an understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Help monitor project budgets and track costs against initial estimates under the guidance of the Senior Estimator.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, materials, and supplier pricing.
You will also have the opportunity to enrol onto a paid Level 3 Construction Support Technician course held at Basford college one day a week, for 2 academic years.
