Job Description:
Role Description
- Develop a complete and thorough understanding of the structures and legal documentation in order to be able to guide the team in interpreting the reporting requirements and solving issues which arise due to document complexity or ambiguity
- Oversee the production of the daily and monthly securitisation reports to the required standard and on a timely basis
- Further develop the Securitisation Reporting area including identifying, designing and implementing improvements and efficiencies, selecting and implementing appropriate software tools and structuring the team for optimal performance.
- Lead the team to overcome challenges arising in meeting complex reporting, bookkeeping and disclosure requirements with respect to investors, rating agencies, tax and regulatory bodies, listing authorities and funding banks.
- Assist other areas of Treasury in the design of structure and legal documents for new transactions in order to improve the transaction management over time
- Responsibility for daily securitisation monitoring and model review
- Responsibility for review of monthly securitisation reporting for public and private investors
- Assist Finance team in preparation and monitoring of associated accounting entries to the General Ledger.
- Develop strong relationships with Treasury, Finance, Business Intelligence and Operations in order to ensure accurate reporting of structures
- Contribute to building models and business processes in respect of new securitisation structures
- Contribute to monthly ALCO reporting as required
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Securitisation Reporting function
Role Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience in establishing and adhering to risk and control frameworks in production of reporting from an accounting perspective
- Proven ability to provide strong leadership to a team and develop team members
- Proven ability to represent the area to, and communicate with, the executive and senior management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and using Powerpoint and Word.
- Strong Excel user with the ability to review and check the complex spreadsheets which the team produces and design changes and improvements for the team to implement.
- Excellent analytical mind with strong logical thinking and strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills for dealing with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task assignments and prioritise workload with limited supervision, be resilient under pressure and able to deliver to deadlines
