Role Description
- Support the structuring of wholesale funding for the Group including Bank of England funding, securitisations, covered bonds and unsecured debt
- Help to structure and review swap documentation in conjunction with internal / external legal to ensure it accurately reflects the commercial agreement and how the derivative will operate
- Support the management of the corporate ratings for the Group and Bank; preparing materials and becoming the subject matter expert of rating criteria
- Work with Structured Finance team to prepare and review reporting to stakeholders for securitisations and Regulated Covered Bonds
- Build relationships with investment banks, to keep updated on markets and build knowledge
- Preparation of debt investor presentations and responses to investor queries. Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and build knowledge on the underlying assets
- Conduct research on market trends, peer analysis and provide insights to support decision making. Support the preparation and analysis of reports for senior management
- Review and approve the Structured Lending utilisation requests in a timely manner and prepare internal monthly reporting
Role Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to present findings and interact across the business and with external stakeholder
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Prior experience in capital markets, finance, or a related field is desirable
