A global investment banking and asset management client of ours has appointed us exclusively to find someone to join their prudential risk team and shape prudential risk across UK and European regulated businesses. You’ll partner closely with diverse businesses, influence key decisions, and help drive resilience in a fast-moving regulatory landscape. The role is based in their London office and offers hybrid working.
Role Description
- Focus on regulatory horizon scanning, including obligation management and risk reporting, which is a vital part of the Bank’s ongoing oversight of prudential regulatory compliance.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact and guide stakeholders across regions as they implement change.
- Shape and maintain prudential risk policies, support Board level reporting and help ensure accurate, meaningful risk insights for senior leaders.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines to strengthen prudential frameworks, contribute to operational risk assessments and support the broader governance responsibilities of the team.

Role Requirements
- Experience working with prudential regulatory frameworks in the UK and EU, including Capital Requirements Regulation and Directive, Investment Firm Regulation and Directive, and the Investment Firm Prudential Regime.
- Ability to interpret regulatory change, assess impacts and contribute to the development of robust frameworks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, maintain accuracy under time pressure and deliver across multiple workstreams.
- Confident communication and relationship building skills, with a collaborative approach and commitment to a strong compliance culture.
- Experience working autonomously and managing bespoke projects from planning through to delivery.
