The predicted salary is between 30000 - 48000 £ per year.

Prepare regular and ad-hoc treasury and management information reports for ALCO meetings and as requested by members of the Treasury team and other teams we work closely with. It is important to ensure reports are timely and accurate.

Assist in the preparation of liquidity forecasting, Interest Rate Gap analysis and other Treasury reporting. You will be expected to take a proactive role in ensuring data integrity and identifying issues that may require escalation.

Assist in specification, documentation, and testing of developments to Treasury reports from core IT systems, including the Treasury ALM system and TMS as required.

Assist with keeping Procedure Manual up to date and taking the lead with improvements where appropriate with reports. Occasionally assist with daily treasury reporting, including tracking payments, wholesale deals and movements with counterparties and the Bank of England. Compile daily data into a report for review by Director of Treasury/Head of Treasury Front Office.

Assist with the maintenance of the Policy Statements on Liquidity and Financial Risk Management and update of the list of approved counterparties.

Role Requirements

  • Strong numerical and analytical ability, with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex data for decision-making and reporting purposes.
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies or issues within reports or systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting information to colleagues.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including advanced functions, pivot tables, macros, and formula-based analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a proven track record of collaborating within a team, contributing ideas and providing updates to the wider team in meetings.
  • Educated to degree level, with a preference for finance, economics, maths or a related discipline.
  • Willingness and motivation to study towards an accounting or treasury qualification.
  • Experience working with treasury systems or financial management software is a bonus but not a requirement.
  • Experience with treasury operations or financial reporting within a financial institution or building society would be a plus but is not a requirement as full training will be given.
