Deliver strategic direction of FP&A, ensuring the Treasury Finance team is appropriately integrated into the wider FP&A community.
Drive Treasury business objectives and strategy through the management of financial targets, regular financial cadence and external benchmarking.
Deliver transparency on Treasury’s Financials and decision making on liquidity and capital management to the wider Bank through insightful analysis and senior stakeholder engagement at regular Treasury Financials Forum with Group Treasurer, Balance Sheet Review and Optimisation meetings.
Set and own Treasury’s Corporate Plan and Forecasts on Revenue, Cost, Balance Sheet and RWA.
Design and own the allocation methodology of Treasury’s Revenue, Costs, Balance to Business segments.
Act as the Financial Controller for PLC. Interpret Hold Co regulatory requirements and partner Treasury with relevant financial metrics to optimise hedging and capital management decisions and facilitate the Group’s dividend payments and buyback programs.
Ownership of end-to-end Business Control Responsibilities, supported by Head of Treasury Product Control.
Role Requirements:
- Professional Accountancy, CFA or related qualification from recognised professional body.
- Excellent understanding of the drivers of Treasury balance sheet and P&L including capital, liquidity, interest rate risk and associated regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Liquidity and Capital Framework and requirements.
- Familiarity in IFRS accounting standards particularly IFRS 9 and associated hedge accounting requirements.
- Track record in a Finance leadership role driving engagement with senior business leaders, strategic change initiatives, regulatory engagement and managing cross border teams.
- Experience in Balance Sheet Management, Performance management or FP&A equivalent role.
- Industry Experience in a specialist Product Control-Valuation Control role would be beneficial.
