About the RoleWe are looking for an SC Cleared QA Engineer to join a high-profile, secure programme delivering critical systems within the UK Defence sector . You\’ll work as part of a collaborative, agile delivery team, ensuring quality across complex software solutions in a secure environment. This role is ideal for a QA Engineer who thrives in regulated environments and understands the importance of quality, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and/or automated test cases

Work closely with developers, BAs, and DevOps in Agile/Scrum teams

Ensure quality across the full SDLC

Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution

Support UAT , regression, and integration testing

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

Ensure testing aligns with security and compliance requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Active SC Clearance (essential)

Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Test Engineer

Strong understanding of software testing principles

Experience working in Agile environments

Ability to produce clear test documentation

Excellent communication and stakeholder skills

Experience in government, defence, or regulated environments

Important NoteDue to the nature of the role, candidates must already hold active SC Clearance and be UK-based.
