We are seeking a hands-on Level 1 IT Technician to support a busy IT environment during a workstation deployment and user support project. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support professional with strong Windows desktop experience who enjoys a varied role across hardware, software, user support, and project work.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and deploy new Windows workstations
- Install operating systems, business applications, security tools, and standard configurations
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities for new starters and leavers
- Provide Level 1 support for hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical problems
- Assist with software updates, patch management, and system administration activities
- Support business platforms including 3CX VoIP and other IT systems
- Configure and troubleshoot printers and end-user peripherals
- Assist with ongoing IT projects where required
- Maintain and update IT documentation, support records, and configuration notes
Requirements
- Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Technician role
- Strong Microsoft Windows workstation deployment and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and printer support
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to document issues and maintain accurate records
- Experience with 3CX or other VoIP systems is desirable
