What you’ll do
- Be the go-to person for keeping our spaces looking sharp.
- This role is all about maintaining safe, stylish and functional buildings, while being a team player and a problem solver.
- Your key responsibilities:
- Take charge of planned and reactive maintenance, keep the buildings and grounds looking superb and handle customer raised maintenance tasks.
- Health and safety: Ensure all statutory compliance is covered across your sites, handle emergencies efficiently and keep great working relationships with contractors.
- Finance: Manage costs for materials and maintenance equipment and keep maintenance stock levels in line with the needs of the business.
- Sustainability & community: Engage with local communities through volunteer work, participate in charity events, promote recycling, energy saving and other eco‑friendly practices, and be a champion for positive social and environmental change.
- Customer service: Create a “home from home” community for students, support with operational audits, handle complaints efficiently and escalate where necessary.
Who you are
- Experienced in facilities management in multiple sites, preferably in PBSA, hospitality or leisure.
- Plumbing, electrical or building qualifications, or proven skills in a similar field.
- A problem‑solving mindset with a collaborative approach.
- Adaptability, energy and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
