We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well-established property maintenance team, delivering high-quality work across a portfolio of residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is confident working across a variety of properties, maintaining exceptional standards of finish and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating works
- Prepare surfaces and apply finishes to walls, doors, skirting, and woodwork
- Hang and line wallpaper to a high standard
- Complete French polishing where required
- Work alongside other trades to ensure a high-quality final finish
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Participate in a seasonal shift and on-call rota
Requirements
- NVQ or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and application techniques
- Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Ability to work at height and safely use ladders/scaffolding
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
