We are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing building services maintenance team covering commercial properties across Central London. This role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and small remedial works across a portfolio of commercial office buildings and mixed‑use properties. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a stable mobile role with a professional and well‑established maintenance provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial buildings
- Fault finding and repairs on lighting, power, emergency lighting, and building services systems
- Minor electrical installations and remedial works
- Electrical testing and inspection where required
- Support mechanical and general building maintenance tasks when necessary
- Carry out plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating correctly
- Complete maintenance paperwork and compliance documentation accurately
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
Requirements
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience within commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault‑finding and reactive maintenance experience
- Good understanding of commercial building services systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Client‑facing with strong communication skills

- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Experience within mobile maintenance roles
- Basic mechanical knowledge
