CLERK OF WORKS EXPERIENCE Residential (high rise) Flats/apartments Various types of construction including MMC.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • To check that all elements of construction are in accordance with the relevant regulations, Codes of Practice, British Standards and the Contract Documents; with specific attention given to fire safety. High rise experience is essential.
  • To check all works, materials and products are in accordance with the Contract Specification and drawings.
  • In the case of defective works or non-compliance, advise site management, Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
  • To monitor the contractor’s Programme and report any delays or failures to the concerned parties.
