Empire Design are looking for an Edit Assistant to join their busy team in their London office making film trailers for the movie business.
Founded in 1996, Empire Design is an award-winning film marketing company specialising in film trailers. With offices in both London and New York we create film advertising campaigns for a wide range of International clients.
In this busy role you will be assisting editors, audio engineers, flame artists and account managers in a range of tasks related to our workflow. This is a full-time office-based role and offers excellent potential development into creative offline editing, Flame editing or audio post-production.
Skills & Experience
- Preferred applicants will have experience working on Avid, and a strong technical background (including knowledge of different video frame rates and formats, encoding and management of diverse media).
- At least 1 year prior Edit Assist experience in a professional (not educational) environment is necessary.
- You will need excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, great communication skills and experience prioritising multiple deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for Film is essential!
