Role Purpose
The Recruitment Sales Representative will generate business opportunities by identifying companies hiring in the field through job boards and other methods such as outbound calls, emails, and other sales activities. They will be responsible for identifying client opportunities, creating those opportunities, and managing the end-to-end sales process to secure new business deals. This role is heavily performance-driven, with a clear path for growth based on results.
What you will do
Outbound Sales Activities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to potential clients.
- Identify and qualify leads through research and effective communication.
- Book online appointments or meetings with decision-makers for the senior sales team.
Lead Generation:
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients across multiple industries.
- Work with internal databases, CRM systems, and other tools to track and optimise outreach efforts.
Client Engagement:
- Develop a basic understanding of client needs to tailor outreach and messaging.
- Represent the company professionally in all communications.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with the senior sales team to transition qualified leads into opportunities.
- Share insights and feedback from outreach activities to improve strategies and processes.
What you need to have:
Outbound Sales Experience (Preferred):
- Previous experience in an outbound sales or telemarketing role is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable making cold calls and contacting potential clients via email or social media.
- Experience within a recruitment agency sales environment.
Drive and Determination:
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to exceed targets.
- Resilient and able to handle rejection professionally while maintaining momentum.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident in presenting information and building rapport with clients.
Organisational Skills:
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or a willingness to learn.
