The Role
This is a pivotal commercial role at Emperor focused on accelerating new business revenue and strengthening our pipeline. You’ll play a central part in our growth strategy by identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships, supporting proposals and pitches, and delivering campaigns that raise Emperor’s profile. You’ll sit at the heart of the business, reporting to our CEO, and working closely with the CEO and other business developers around Emperor to open doors, build momentum, and convert opportunities into revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Emperor’s growth strategy
- Lead prospecting and outreach across priority sectors
- Identify, qualify, and progress high-potential opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to conversion
- Contribute to pitch development and submission
- Develop compelling campaigns aligned to client needs
- Define target sectors and routes to market
- Build and maintain relationships with senior clients and prospects
- Track pipeline performance and ensure strong commercial discipline
- Support teams in achieving sales targets and revenue growth

- 5+ years’ experience in agency business development
- Experience within corporate communications, creative, digital, or advisory environments
- Strong experience in end to end agency sales process

- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate client needs into revenue opportunities
- Collaborative approach to working across teams to win business
