Salary: £35,809.49 per annum (inclusive of sleep-ins), rising to £36,308.06 after successful probation

Location: Derby

Contract: Full-time (approx. 56.4 hours per week including sleeps)

Rota: 1 day on, 2 days off (08:00–23:00 + sleep)

About the Role

We are recruiting Therapeutic Children’s Residential Support Workers to support young people aged 8–18 who present with emotional and behavioural challenges.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Flexibility to work long shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People/Residential Childcare or willingness to complete it
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed practice
  • Experience in residential childcare is desirable but not essential for the right person

Working Pattern

Three-week rolling rota (1 day on, 2 days off)

Sleep-ins included within contracted hours and paid during annual leave
