The Business Governance Lead will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Manager and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Vehicle Architecture and Vehicle Engineering. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication and administrative skills, capable of managing diverse responsibilities and contributing to the effective governance of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Manager Support
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other critical business materials.
- Support the Business Manager in tracking key performance indicators and action items.
- Communication Lead
- Develop and disseminate clear and concise communications to internal stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain communication channels, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Content Development
- Assist in the development and maintenance of content for various communication platforms, including intranet pages, newsletters, and presentations.
- Ensure content is aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and process documentation.
- Prepare and co-ordinate Technical Spotlights and Lunch and Learns for VAVE across all sites.
- Communication Events Support
- Support the Business Manager in organisation of communication events, including meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Manage logistics, including venue booking, equipment setup, and attendee coordination.
- Prepare and distribute event materials and follow-up communications.
- Purchase Order Management for events planned and associated activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders and related documentation.
- Annual Diary Management
- Develop and maintain an annual diary of key events, deadlines, and milestones for VAVE.
- Ensure all scheduling is made to maximise efficiency.
- SharePoint Process Management
- Document and update process maps, work instructions, and business practices related to VAVE Business Team.
- Ensure information is easily accessible and regularly reviewed.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or governance role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in purchase order processing and financial administration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience documenting processes.
- Experience with diary management.
