Overview
We are looking for a Software Developer who will be focusing on reverse engineering.
Responsibilities
- Reverse engineering and implementation of new software as requested by the Marketing department (Product Owner, GBO)
- Log and analyse vehicle programming procedures as they are implemented in dealer tools or competitor tools
- Bug fixing
- New protocols reverse engineering
Requirements
- Experience in the automotive vehicle connectivity
- C and C++ Programming
- Python 2.7 or Python 3. x scripting
- CANbus
- UDS protocol
- Embedded systems
Desirable knowledge/experience
- Secure design principles and technologies – encryption, authentication, etc.
- Familiarity with hardware design principles, schematic reading.
- Automotive diagnostic tools, technologies and protocols
- Networking - TCP/IP, HTTP(S), REST, Wi Fi.
- IOT and messaging protocols e. g. MQTT.
- XML, JSON.
- Embedded databases (e. g. SQLite)
- Embedded User Interface Frameworks (e. g. Altia)
