Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- The Design Integration, Layout System Integration Engineer is responsible for supporting the delivery of BIM-enabled facility integration activities from concept through to project completion, ensuring compliance with defined standards, processes, and digital engineering methodologies across GME programmes.
- Responsible for aspects of BIM development through time.
- Experience of federated model coordination, design review and clash detection processes.
- Support implementation of Common Data Environment (CDE), digital asset management and digital twin information management processes within projects.
- Support the application of BIM methodology and Layout System Integration processes across GME projects.
- Apply company BIM standards within Facilities design and delivery activities.
- Support integration activities across programme delivery, construction, and digital estates functions.
- Support L1 L5 Layout System Integration reviews and buy-off activities.
- Deliver project outputs in line with programme timing and gateway requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews to support integration readiness and design assurance.
- Utilise approved Layout Integration Standard toolsets to develop and coordinate facility layouts.
