The Role
We\'re looking for a CAD Engineer to join a leading manufacturer at their state-of-the-art facility in Newcastle-under-Lyme. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate 3D CAD drawings for both standard and bespoke products, supporting new product development, engineering changes, and daily order processing.
This is a hands-on role working across departments including production, quality, sales, and R&D, with a strong focus on design accuracy, manufacturability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D CAD drawings for bespoke and standard products
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records, revisions, and document control
- Contribute to improving drawing standards, design workflows, and product quality
What You’ll Need
- Experience in a CAD design/engineering role (manufacturing or construction)
